Frequently asked questions about business photography
How much does business photography cost at PicturePeople?
Employee portraits in the studio cost €99 net per person without cut-out and €119 net per person with cut-out, each including retouching and commercial usage rights. An on-site shoot starts at €1,499 net for up to four hours plus travel. Events and trade fairs are priced individually. All prices are in the 2026 price list.
Do all employees have to come to the shoot at the same time?
No. Each employee receives a shooting code and uses it in one of our 50+ studios whenever it suits them. New colleagues are photographed right in their onboarding, with no scheduling via HR.
How do you make sure the photos look consistent?
With a briefing stored in every studio: format, crop, posture, dress code, cut-out and background are defined once. For teams across several locations we recommend the cut-out, so everyone sits on exactly the same background.
How quickly do we get the finished images?
Usually within a few business days after the shoot, retouched, in the requested format and ready to use on your channels.
Can we use the images freely?
Yes. Commercial usage rights are included with all business items: website, social media, press, intranet, trade fairs and print.
Can you work with our corporate identity?
Yes. Background in your corporate colour, image style and mood are defined in the briefing. Choose from our background library or give us your colour value.
Do you also photograph outside the studio cities?
Yes. Our team brings the complete studio to you, anywhere in Germany. Travel is a flat rate by radius: €199 up to 15 km, €299 up to 60 km, €399 beyond.
How much effort is it for us as a company?
Very little. You fill in the request and briefing online, we do the rest: planning, codes for your employees, shoot, retouching, delivery.
How do employees select their images?
Either right in the studio after the shoot or online from home, at no extra charge. You define how many images are available for selection.

Employee photos and employee portraits

Business headshots
The portrait at chest height or to the collarbone, usually portrait format or square: the standard for LinkedIn, careers pages and press kits.
Cut-out
The person is cleanly separated from the background. Any background can then be inserted, and portraits from different studios look exactly the same.
Shooting code
A code your company passes on to each employee. With it they are photographed in the studio according to your briefing, without HR coordinating appointments.
Employer branding photos
Authentic images from everyday work for careers page and recruiting. Created in a themed shoot or an on-site shoot at your company.
